“My name is Carl Gilbert and in December 2016 we had a management buy out and I became the Managing Director and majority shareholder of Arraquip Ltd – A Steel Stockholders based in Grantham Lincolnshire. After a few months of being the MD, I began to realise how much pressure was on me regarding everything from Staff and Clients to the Bank Manager and debts etc. The pressure became too great and I ended up at the GP with chest pains that were all put down to stress. It also impacted on my family life, and enjoying weekend time with my wife and children became a thing of the past. I felt, at this point that I needed to do something.
